Since acquiring Château Argadens, the Sichel family has put in place a vast renovation program. Their aim in acquiring Argadens was quite simply to see it express the full potential of its wonderful terroir and become one of the benchmark properties in the Bordeaux Supérieur category.

We think they have definitely achieved this!

A rich, open bouquet that reveals intense aromas of ripe, concentrated black-berried fruit and elegant oak. The same impression of generous fruit is found on the powerful, rich and chewy palate, which is structured by taut, dense tannins and lingers to a long, ample and spicy finish.
