Avignonesi Rosso di Montepulciano
From southern Tuscany, the Avignonesi winery covers some 200 hectares.
Delicately spicy, with intense aromas of red berry fruits and hints of violets. The flavour is smooth, complex and long lingering, expressing a beautiful harmony between freshness, acidity and ripe fruit flavours; Avignonesi Rosso di Montepulciano, not to be mistaken for Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, is a fine example of Sangiovese grown in the town of Montepulciano. A young, versatile wine, that surprises for its ability to pair with food.
