Château Cantemerle Haut-Médoc 2014
This is a very distinguished wine. Its subtle aromatic character betrays little of the depth and complexity on the palate.
Elegant, delicate red fruits & cassis with hints of hazelnuts. The wine continues to develop on the palate with sweet, tender tannins and leaves a final impression of great refinement on the finish. Plenty of cellaring potential here.
The first record of wine-growing on the estate dates back as far as 1354, when the Lord of Cantemerle paid the dime tax with a barrel of claret.
