Westwell Special Cuvee 2014
Westwell Wines is 45 acre (18ha) site located just beneath the Pilgrims Way on the North Downs, a route used for centuries by Pilgrims travelling to Canterbury.
All wines are made from estate grown grapes. Owner John Rowe believes that having complete control of the vineyard allows every decision to be based on whether it will drive better quality & complexity in the finished wine.
Aged in bottle for at least 24 months before disgorgement.
Wonderful, minerally nose with Pinot notes beginning to emerge. Chalky, mineral notes frame the long, utterly impeccable finish.
An excellent accompaniment to richer foods such as fish in sauces, rare beef & oriental foods as well as for celebrating on its own!
