- We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18.
- Orders are accepted subject to availability and vintages may vary from those shown in the list. In the unlikely event that a product is unavailable when you place your order we will arrange replacement or another acceptable arrangement for the completion of your order.
- We reserve the right not to accept any order.
- Our minimum purchase is 6 standard bottles which may be mixed to your choice.
- We accept the following credit/debit cards: Visa, Visa-Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, Visa-Debit.
- Images of wines and labels on the website are used as a representation of their type and should only be used as a guide.

- The standard delivery charge is £9.95 to England and Wales and £15.00 to Scotland with free delivery on orders over £200.00. Free delivery may be indicated on some Special Case Offers.
- We deliver exclusively within mainland UK, which excludes the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands and Islands.
- Delivery will be in the manner and time as agreed with Hercules Wine Warehouse but Hercules Wine Warehouse will not be responsible for any variation caused by circumstances beyond its control or where delivery is carried out by a Third Party.
- We aim to process and dispatch all orders as quickly as possible.
- Delivery will usually be made within 3 working days after dispatch from our warehouse but orders that can be dispatched before midday will normally be delivered before 4.00pm the next working day.
- We use an independent carrier for delivery. If at the first attempt there is no reply, the carrier will leave a card with contact details so that a mutually agreed time can be arranged. If there is no reply to this second mutually agreed delivery, you will be responsible for making your own arrangements with the carrier. The goods will be returned to our warehouse if they have not been collected from the carrier within 21 days.
- All our prices are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
- Promotional offers and prices are as stated, with no further discounts available.
- The prices at which orders are accepted may be subject to revision without formal notice in the event of any changes in rates of exchange, duty or variation in market prices between the date of order and the date of invoicing.
- Goods supplied by Hercules Wine Warehouse shall remain the property of the Company until the full purchase price has been paid.
- In the case of any re-sale of the goods, or part thereof, you agree to hold the full proceeds of sale in trust for us on our behalf.
- We will provide a full refund or replacement for any goods that are faulty.
- This does not affect your statutory rights.
- We may require faulty bottles to be returned to us and will arrange this as necessary at your convenience.
- All goods purchased from Hercules Wine Warehouse must be examined on arrival and any discrepancies marked on the delivery note as well as being notified separately in writing to Hercules Wine Warehouse within 7 days by the recipient.
- Non-delivery of goods must be similarly notified in writing within 14 days of your order. Hercules Wine Warehouse cannot entertain claims when these conditions have not been met.
- You may cancel your order within 7 working days of receiving the goods and must notify us in writing or by email should you wish to do so.
- Should you decide to cancel, all charges to you will be refunded. The goods should be returned in merchantable, unused and re-saleable condition to Hercules Wine Warehouse.
- Return carriage costs are your responsibility, except when substitute goods are returned. If goods are found to be genuinely faulty we will reimburse return costs.
- You must take reasonable care of all goods whilst in your possession and make arrangements for their return as soon as is practicable.
- In the event of complaint please contact us in the first instance by telephone or email with full details of your complaint.
- All complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and you can expect a full resolution of your complaint within a further 72 hours. You will be kept informed if there is any delay beyond this. Each complaint will be treated as confidential and will be attended to by a senior manager or director.
