A classic colour for those who know their Brouilly, with gorgeous sparkling highlights and an intense crimson hue. Initially smoky and musky, the nose - which develops gradually once the wine is poured - is ultimately very delicate. The attack in the mouth is full, an explosion of fruit complemented by a certain solemnity, a good body and consistency. It's nice and long in the mouth, not complex but very jocular and fruity. A typical wine, as a Beaujolais should be - fruity and lively and an excellent accompaniment to pork, grilled meats, and even - surprisingly enough - some fish (without sauce). This wine will keep with all its fruit intact for the next three years.
