Chateau Grand Puy-Ducasse 2004 - Magnums
Widely acknoweged by respected wine tsters to be one of the best Pauillac great growths. A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot from vines that are on average 25 years old, the grapes are hand picked. Once in the vatrooms they are hand sorted, de stemmed and lightly crushed prior to fermentation in stailess steel vats. Grapes from different plots are fermented separately then blended and aged in oak from 18 to 24 months.
