The vineyards for the 1er cru Vau de Vey are located on a very steep slope facing East with a chalky and clay soil. The subsoil of this vineyards, gives a certain character to this wine, which makes it unique. When young, the Vau de Vey invariably expresses white flowers and on the palate, it leaves a pronounced mineral taste that Chablis is renouned for. An ample, rich, full and intense wine with a lovely finish.
